Partner and Chief Financial Officer, Brendan Campbell assists in company growth and ensures day-to-day operational excellence through the financial and risk management of Pinnacle while overseeing the company’s fiscal and regulatory matters. He is responsible for the development and maintenance of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.

With over 15 years of increasing responsibility in Pinnacle’s Finance and Accounting department, Mr. Campbell lead his team in the compilation of financial statements, budget forecasting and monitoring, debt issuance and compliance reporting, cash flow projections and analysis, capital project tracking, audit, payroll, special financial reports, fee billings, investment management, and long-term projections. He has extensive knowledge of district and authority formations, urban renewal authorities, intergovernmental agreements, public-private partnerships, financing strategies, and financial modeling and forecasting.

His experience in finance and accounting in both private sector business and local government provides the knowledge and skills to be an invaluable resource for our clients. Mr. Campbell was previously a senior auditor for a Denver-based CPA firm. While there, he assisted clients in providing accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders, ensured compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and government regulations, and reviewed organizational policies and procedures to identify and improve company practices.

Mr. Campbell obtained a Bachelor of Science with honors in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. He achieved and was awarded the CPA designation in 2009 and holds a current active Colorado CPA license.

He serves as an appointed community member to the Loveland Fire Rescue Authority Retirement Plan Committee and is actively involved with his church. Mr. Campbell dedicates his time and energy to his wife and children. He finds every opportunity to experience new and different places and activities.
