He has over 20 years of experience serving Special Districts and municipalities in Colorado, providing district management and infrastructure project management. Mr. Walker’s district experience encompasses the formation of districts, administrative management, budgeting, long-range planning, operations and maintenance of district facilities, governmental compliance with the state, and continual liaison with governmental entities. His experience of over 25 years in private and public projects enables him to effectively manage the entire process from concept through construction, and ultimately to operations.
Mr. Walker’s background and established relationships with governmental entities, district boards, and developers enable him to be an effective liaison. Together, this extensive experience provides clients assurance and confidence in the entity viability, organizational structure, capital infrastructure, and operations of their projects.
Mr. Walker holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management and a Biblical Studies certificate from Colorado Christian University. He continues to develop himself through master’s coursework in Executive Leadership from Colorado Christian University. Remaining active in the construction industry, Mr. Walker retains his local General Contractor licenses.
He currently invests in his community by serving with Timberline Church Missions, Rotary International, GRIT Athletics, The Matthews House, Everitt Real Estate Center at Colorado State University, and Centennial Institute. Some of his past involvement includes the Thompson R2J Bond Oversight Committee, Habitat for Humanity, Leadership Loveland, and coaching Thompson Valley Wrestling Club and LBA baseball.
Mr. Walker resides in Fort Collins with his wife Holly. They treasure quality time with their three adult children Johnathan, Abigayle, and Emally. As a family, they invest their time in local and international mission efforts serving communities in need. Central America holds a special place in each of their hearts through incredible relationships with amazing people in the region.
